This delicious almond cranberry bread is an old school gem. It’s rustic, flavorful and comforting. The combined aroma of cinnamon, almond, vanilla, and fruits is tantalizing.
Ingredient:
How I make my Almond cranberry bread

2cups | All-purpose flour |
3/4 cup | Granulated sugar |
½ cup | Brown sugar |
1 ½ tsps. | Baking soda |
½ tsp | salt |
1 tsp | cinnamon |
½ tsp | nutmeg |
½ cup | Butter or margarine |
1 ½ cups | Applesauce |
2 | eggs |
1/2 tsp | vanilla extract |
¾ cup | dried cranberries |
1/4 cup | citron |
3/4 cup | split almond |
1/2 cup | powered sugar, sifted |
Directions:
Combine flour, granulated sugar and brown sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, vanilla extract and nutmeg in a mixing bowl. Add butter and applesauce. Beat the mixture for no more than two minutes with an electric mixer set to low speed; be sure to scrape down the side of the bowl. Add eggs and beat for two minutes. Stir in fruits and nuts. Pour batter into a greased and floured nine-inch loaf pan. Bake bread at 350*F for 1 1/2 hours or until done. Cool slightly before removing from pan — dust the warm loaf with powdered sugar. Serve warm.

Looks very very good and yummy.
