Picnic Chocolate cake


Two cups of all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups of packed brown sugar
1/2 cup of unsweetened baking cocoa
1 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Two teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup butter
One teaspoon of cinnamon powder
One teaspoon of vanilla extract
Two eggs


Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease the sides and line the bottom of a 9 1/2 inch round cake pan with parchment paper.
Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, salt, and baking soda in a large bowl.
Add milk, butter, and vanilla.
Beat the mixture at the low speed of an electric mixer until combined. Once combined, beat at medium speed for two minutes.
Add eggs and beat for two minutes. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
Pour batter into pan.
Bake batter at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 40-50 minutes. Or until a cake tester, you inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool the cake on a cooling rack before removing it from the pan. Allow it to cool completely before frosting—Frost as desired.
